Lauren Hildebrand has always shared a special bond with dictionaries and grammar books. While in high school, she actively resisted every form of essay, but begged to diagram sentences and practiced using five-syllable words in casual conversation. She read every book she could find with ‘classic’ printed on the spine, initially in hope that someone would ask what she was reading. When that failed, she kept on because she’d become an old-book addict.
With time, her love of the written word led naturally into editing.
As a freelance editor, Lauren enjoys character focused, imaginative fiction and working with young authors to help them hone their skills. When not editing, she can be found cooking, sewing, attempting to learn German, or scribbling her own stories.
